“You Only Sold 4 Singles To Be Number 1 In Nigeria”—Dencia humbles Davido&wizkid

Earlier this week, an Instagram account “Wizkidnews” posted a picture which showed that Wizkid’s latest single “African Bad Gyal” was #1 on Nigeria’s iTunes chart. Soon after, Davido posted another picture which showed that his song “Fall” was #1 and disabled comments on his Instagram page. Now it seems Dencia has decided to humble both artistes by hitting them with some hard truth!

Dencia has come for Davido and Wizkid, and it is real messy!

The drama started yesterday when Davido took to his Instagram to share the recent iTunes chart which shows his song ‘Fall‘ trending as no. 1, and shortly after, Wizkid posted his own iTunes chart showing his song ‘African Bad Gyal‘ trending, also as no. 1.

The cold war between the two singers started after Davido’s brother dissed Wizkid by declaring Canadian singer The Weeknd as the ‘real Star Boy’. Wizkid unfollowed both brothers on Instagram shortly after, and Davido unfollowed him too, in revenge.

Now, their beef is gradually gathering storm, especially with the stars fighting over the no.1 spot on iTunes chart.

While fans have pitched their tents with either artistes, fighting for their faves’ honour, Dencia daintily stepped in and muddied the water.

Posting on her social media, the Nigerian-Cameroonian singer and businesswoman has published the actually sales records, showing that they both Wizkid and Davido sold only 4 records!

“It’s 4 songs sold, like 4 whole songs to be #1. Dude, it aint even up to $10 in yankee,” she mocked them. And then she proceeded to add that Tekno, Mr Eazi and Korede Bello are actually the only Nigerian stars topping the charts.

OUCH.
